Whether you are invited for a meal or to stay for a couple of days at someone else’s place, it is proper etiquette to bring something to your host . The gift need not be expensive. What is important is the gesture. It just serves as a token to show your gratitude for the invitation.
For most of us, our daily routine consists of designated hours spent going to work, working, going back home and getting some sleep. We seldom or never even think of scheduling time within our day for ourselves; to just be alone and do something that we really want to do or to reward ourselves for getting through the day.
Everyone has the goal of living a stress-free life but that may just be a myth. We will experience no growth in life if we don’t encounter stress. If you don’t experience stress and conquer them, then you will never realise your full potential.
Dear Present Me,
You did it! You were able to go through 2018 with flying colours. You thought it was impossible at first but you have overcome all the challenges.
Last November 5, 2018, Ariana Grande’s single, “Thank U, Next” broke Spotify’s Single Day Streaming record for a female artist after it earned 8.2 million streams that day. The next day, it broke its own record. The single has become the most streamed song for five consecutive days in a row with almost 50 million streams on the first week of its release. Currently, it holds the record of being the fastest song ever to surpass the 100 million streams in Spotify.
Darkness deserves gratitude. It is the alleluia point at which we learn to understand that all growth does not take place in the sunlight. – Joan Chittister
Pessimistic. Negative thinker. Sensitive. Prone to depression.
That’s who I was.
When we see pictures of wealthy people on glossy magazines, on TV and when we meet them in real life; we also wish in our hearts that we could be as wealthy as them. We want to ride the same car, buy the same clothes and be able to travel or buy things when we want to. However, we can wish all we want but if we don’t work towards becoming wealthy, we won’t ever get there.
Do you want to become wealthy? The key to wealth is to master the wealth mindset. The difference between the rich and poor has nothing to do with the amount of money that they have in the bank; rather, it is all about their mindset. Your mindset is your set of beliefs and attitudes about certain areas in your life. If money is your concern, then chances are you have symptoms of a poverty mindset.
